iPhone finally coming to APAC shores

The Apple iPhone is finally coming to Asia.

According to BBC News, Apple Inc., maker of the iconic iPhone, has inked deals with four mobile phone networks in the Asia-Pacific region: SingTel in Singapore, Bharti Airtel in India, Globe Telecom in the Philippines, and Optus in Australia. These mobile phone carriers will offer the iPhone in their respective countries.

Meanwhile, talks between Apple and China Mobile on the iPhone's distribution in China had stalled earlier this year as the two companies reportedly could not agree on the revenue-sharing terms. This was viewed as an indication that an official iPhone launch is unlikely in China anytime soon.
